Concept:
Thinking about this sentence by Mauricio Kagel i decided to write a piece dedicated to Bach. So it happened that the famous “Bach theme”, obtained by translating in music the letters of his name, became here the structure itself of the whole piece. Each letter becomes a section, in which the musical material will be managed using only that note (in every form and alteration) or that precise tonality.
Finally, everything finds its place within mathematical proportions refering to Bach’s favourite number, the one that he loved most for reasons not always clear, the 14.
