Last appointment with the 2021 edition of the “Piazza del Giglio” review: on Friday 6 August at 9.30 pm in Piazza del Giglio, “La serva padrona” is staged, a funny interlude in two parts by Giovan Battista Pergolesi with a libretto by Gennaro Antonio Federico. The show is made by the Teatro del Giglio in collaboration with Animando – Music Promotion Center. “Collaborating with the Teatro del Giglio – comments the president of Animando, Paolo Citti – is always an enriching experience. “La serva padrona” will be conducted for the occasion by Stefano Teani at the helm of the Animando Ensemble. The direction is signed by Nicola Fanucchi, actor and director from Lucca. Ilaria Casai, a young soprano, gives voice to Serpina. For the role of Uberto there is Giovanni Mazzei.
