Ten premieres of Cluster composers
Saturday’s concert of the Cluster association of contemporary music, taking place at 5.30 p.m. in the Auditorium Bml, has a particular side. It is the artistic expression of ten young composers (members of Cluster) who will present to the audience their works for the first time.
They are artist between 20 and 30 years old, that chose to follow with great passion their musical talent through composition, using the instruments that Cluster gave them for this event, organized by Stefano Teani, that are Flute, Harp and electronics. By Cristian Monti will be performed “Apeiron, for Flute and Harp”, by Alfredo Baione “Alla finestra, little poem for Flute and Harp”, by Lorenzo Petrizzo “Pan, for solo Flute”, by Michele Barsotti “Scorcio di fantasia, for Flute and Harp”, by Francesco D’Agostino “Dialoghi a-tono, for Flute and Harp”, by Maria Gioia Lastraioli “Il canto di Dafni, for solo Flute”, by Jacopo Caffè “Un figlio, for flute and Harp”, by Sarai Vangelli de Cresci “Iris, for Flute and Harp”, by Dario Ferrante “Mercurio e Venere, for Flute and Live Electronics”,by Stefano Teani “Àuguri di primavera, for Flute, Harp and Live Electronics”. The pieces will be performed by the flutist Agnese Manfredini and the harpist Valentina Cinquini. Both of them attends the bachelor course at the Boccherini institute and are part of the Yugen Ensemble. Free entry.
