4 poems for Soprano, Flute, Vibraphone, Bass Trombone and Harp
This piece is born ti celebrate the art of the poet Ungaretti in a journey that starts from him and to him returns. Taking from his collection “Vita d’un uomo”, the corpus of all his works, i chose four poems: The seasons (1920).
Which metaphor has ever been used, more than the seasons, to describe life? So his seasons (almost like “his” rivers) become music to describe the life of a man, and who knows that man is not Ungaretti himself.
